On Wednesday afternoon, Southern received reports of a fire on a train at Clapham Junction, National Highways said. Firefighters were called to the scene, and customers have been warned of ongoing disruption.
Diversions and Service Changes
Due to the incident, "trains are being diverted via an alternative track, which means they are unable to stop at Battersea Park and Wandsworth Common until the affected line reopens", the organisation said. Trains running to and from London Victoria will not call at Battersea Park and Wandsworth Common until further notice.
