Celtic host Hearts at Parkhead on Sunday, October 18, with kick-off at 3pm. The match is being shown live on Sky Sports Football, with coverage starting at 2.30pm.
Hearts return to Glasgow's east end for the first time since last season's final-day title race heartbreak. Celtic claimed the championship in dramatic fashion on the final day, winning 3-1 and denying the Jambos a fairytale ending to the campaign. The fallout from that day is still ongoing, with charges made and football banning orders handed out in the wake of the stoppage-time pitch invasion that effectively brought the match to a close.
Hearts under new management
Hearts are now under new management, with Wouter Vrancken having taken over from Derek McInnes in the summer. Vrancken has implemented a dramatic style change, with the Gorgie Boys less solid but playing with an attacking swagger that fans are loving. They arrive at the champions as the league's top scorers.
Talk of a title challenge this year is much quieter, probably because Hearts are already five points behind Celtic – a gap which could be eight, two or exactly the same come full-time. Celtic, meanwhile, don't appear to have learned massively from last season, and fans are again not overly impressed with what they are seeing.
