Asda's George Fashion has launched its new autumn-season kidswear range, featuring knitwear, layering pieces, and outerwear for less. The collection provides a cost-effective way to refresh a child's autumn wardrobe, whether shoppers are after comfy clothes for playing in or a new jacket following a growth spurt.
The range includes everything from basic t-shirts and jeans to two-piece sets and cosy coats. We've chosen a few of our favourite pieces, and they're all under £30. It includes a boys' padded hooded jacket, as well as a sweatshirt and trousers set for young girls. As many of these items are new in, there are no reviews for the products yet.
Dress and Tights Sets
For girls, there's the Spotty Cord Frill Neck Dress and Tights Set from £12. The two-piece set includes a soft corduroy fabric dress in an autumnal colour, featuring a spotted print. The 100% cotton dress has a round neck and a button front fastening. The second item in the set is a pair of cream cotton-rich tights. Sizes start from 1 to 1.5 years, all the way through to 7-8 years.
If the colour isn't a favourite, shoppers could consider the Dark Pink Striped Dress and Tights Outfit, also from £12. This set also has a frilly collar, but instead of corduroy, it is 100% cotton; it also comes with a pair of cotton-rich tights. With both sets, parents may find themselves saving the light-coloured tights for special occasions and instead reaching for darker shades that are less likely to show stains and spills.
Hoodies, Trainers, and Jackets
This two piece hoodie and joggers outfit is available in sizes from 3-4 years through to 13-14 years, from £18. The hooded long-sleeve jumper boasts a back graphic design. The jogging bottoms feature an elasticated waist, full-length legs and cuffed ankles. Both are made from a soft jersey fabric that can be machine washed and tumble dried when needed.
There's also stylish footwear in the new range. These White Contrast Stripe Cupsole Trainers, from £12, are great for both boys and girls. The trainers have a simple 'touch and close' fastening with elasticated laces. The contrast stripe design also features a gripped cupsole. Sizes start from a toddler's size 4 to 13, through to a small 1 and 2 size. One thing to note, which may be a negative for some, is that the trainers are not leather and are wipe-clean only, which may impact their durability over time.
Denim and Padded Jackets
There's also the Flower Embroidered Zip Front Denim Jacket for young girls, from £16. The jacket features a collared neck with long, elastic cuff sleeves. The delicate flower embroidery adds a fun touch to the denim fabric. It comes in sizes 1-1.5 years through to 7-8 years. Shoppers can also match it to the Mid Wash Embroidered Daisy Barrel Leg Jeans from £10. The full-length jeans feature an elasticated waist for ease.
From £12, the Cuddly Club Sweatshirt and Trousers Outfit is sure to be a hit with young girls. The crew neck, long sleeve top features a cute cat design with the 'cuddly club' embroidered slogan. The matching trousers are full-length with an elasticated waist. They feature a floral design made from soft jersey fabric. The set is available to buy in sizes 1-1.5 years through to 7-8 years.
Lastly, the Black ORGNL Padded Hooded Jacket for boys is available from £26. The hooded jacket is padded and while it is shower-resistant, it is not waterproof. It is Borg fleeced lined to keep children cosy with a long storm cuff sleeve. It has four pockets - two side zip and two front flap. The jacket can be machine-washed and tumble-dried when it's needed again in a hurry, making it fab for children who enjoy playing outside. Sizes range from 4-5 years to 13-14 years, but it is currently sold out in several sizes.
