Bournemouth Beach in Dorset has been named the UK's favourite beach, following TripAdvisor reviews and rankings. The seven-mile stretch of golden sand has been praised for its 'clear waters' and 'beautiful yellow sand'.
A 'True Coastal Gem' According to Visitors
One holidaymaker described Bournemouth Beach as a "true coastal gem that offers a delightful escape to nature's beauty and relaxation" on TripAdvisor. They added: "This sandy haven boasts a stunning blend of natural splendour and vibrant seaside charm."
Another visitor called it a "stunning beach" and wrote: "Bournemouth Beach is just amazing. Clean Soft sand and smooth slope into the gentle sea. And so many easy access toilets never far away."
A third commented: "Absolutely fantastic beach! The sand was beautiful, and the sea was crystal clear. Lots of things to do nearby (arcades, etc). My son thoroughly enjoyed himself and we would 100% return!"
