Parents looking for affordable days out this summer can take heart from a new study naming the cheapest theme parks in the UK. Research by Outdoor Toys compared peak summer weekend prices for children's tickets to rank the most budget-friendly options.
Playland Fun Park in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, topped the list with free admission and rides priced from just £1. The park features 20 attractions including a pirate ship, F1 cars, and bumper boats, plus a splash park and picnic area where families can bring their own food.
Second is The Web Adventure Park near York, where children's tickets cost £17.95 and include an indoor play centre, fairground rides, and animal encounters. The park also holds regular foam parties and has a 4.5-star TripAdvisor rating.
Camel Creek Adventure Park in Wadebridge, Cornwall, came third with children's tickets starting at £20 and free entry for under-92cm visitors. Day tickets include a free seven-day pass, and the park offers rides such as Thunder Falls rollercoaster and a pet corner.
Fantasy Island in Skegness ranked fourth, with free entry for non-riders or wristbands costing £20.50 per day for children. The park has river rapids, rollercoasters, and on-site accommodation. BeWILDerwood in Cheshire completed the top five, with peak tickets just under £23 for tree-themed activities including sky mazes and live shows.
