The UK's best beer gardens have been named as summer winds down and the days aren't as scorching. The UK has experienced an incredibly hot summer, with temperatures getting close to 40C at times in places like London and the South East of England during multiple heatwaves. For many, this meant staying away from beer gardens when temperatures were too high.
But temperatures have dropped in recent weeks, meaning that beer gardens are actually pleasant to sit in, especially when there is a bit of an evening breeze. Esteemed nightlife website Design My Night has listed the best beer gardens in the UK, located all across the country, from the south coast of England to Scotland.

The Bottle & Glass in Harby is home to "world-class wines", according to Design My Night, as well as local ales and cocktails. There are plenty of places to sit to soak up the sun, as well as delicious fare on the menu.
Brewhouse & Kitchen has sites across the UK, many of which have lovely beer gardens. "If you're hunting for great places to drink outside in Cardiff or Worthing, it's hard to beat Brewhouse & Kitchen for space," Design My Night says. "The venue's gorgeous beer garden boasts pretty tables and fire pits, which are perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the company of pals, pints and juicy burgers."

The Distillery is one of Birmingham's go-to outdoor drinking spots, serving up drinks along with delicious food from the kitchen. Over the summer months, it held many a lively World Cup viewing party.
The Ark in Glasgow calls itself the city's best outdoor area for drinks, and many locals would agree. "Our beer garden in Glasgow is a place to relax, catch live sport, or simply enjoy the fresh air with a drink in hand," it says. "And with plenty of seating, you can stay all day and well into the night."
