Benidorm Tourist Scrubs for Days After Hulk Paint Blunder
Tourist's Hulk costume mistake leaves him green for days

A British tourist's attempt to transform into the Incredible Hulk for a night out in Benidorm backfired spectacularly, leaving him scrubbing green paint from his skin for three days.

The Costume Decision That Went Green

Kane, a tourist from Middlesbrough, Teesside, decided to go all out for his night in the Spanish party resort, aiming to impress as the iconic Marvel superhero. Concerned that regular children's face paint or makeup would sweat off in the warm weather, he made a fateful choice to use textile paint instead.

He proceeded to cover seemingly his entire body in the green substance, applying a whopping six layers using a paint can and brush. He even conducted a small test on his arm earlier in the day, where the paint rinsed off easily, giving him a false sense of security.

The Hilarious Aftermath and Viral Fame

The costume was a success on the night, but the real trouble began afterwards. Once the paint had set for hours on his skin, it became incredibly difficult to remove. Kane was left with bright green skin, much to the amusement of his friends.

His pal, Graham White, 48, shared videos of the ordeal online, with one clip amassing over two million views. The footage chronicled everything from the initial painting to the desperate attempts to wash it off. Graham provided commentary, stating, "It was 100% accidental. It took three days to get most of it off. He had six baths and was in a steam room for ages—but the paint is still on his head and neck in places."

A Warning to Other Partygoers

The saga was documented in a series of online updates. After the first shower failed, Graham reported, "He's had a shower and it won't come off. Waiting to see what he looks like but by the sounds of it there's no change."

Later clips eventually showed a mostly clean Kane, save for some stubborn patches around his neck. The pair hope their experience serves as a stark warning to other holidaymakers about the perils of choosing the wrong materials for fancy dress. The incident sparked a wave of hilarious comments from viewers, with one noting they had seen him "in Benidorm earlier with most of it still on him sat on the bench."
