Benidorm Brit Left Green for Days After Using Textile Paint for Hulk Costume

A British tourist in Benidorm spent days scrubbing green paint from his skin after mistakenly using textile paint instead of makeup to dress as the Hulk. Kane, from Middlesbrough, Teesside, covered his body in the paint for a night out in the Spanish party resort, fearing that traditional face paint or makeup would sweat off in the warm weather.

However, the textile paint proved difficult to remove, leaving Kane with green skin for three days. His friend Graham, 48, said: 'It was 100% accidental. It took three days to get most of it off. He had six baths and was in a steam room for ages — but the paint is still on his head and neck in places.'

Kane had tested the paint on his arm earlier and was able to rinse it off quickly, but after applying six layers and leaving it on for hours, it set stubbornly. Videos shared by Graham, which have been viewed over two million times, show Kane applying the paint with a brush and later struggling to remove it.

One clip shows Kane bathing in an attempt to clean off the green, while another reveals residual paint on his neck and head days later. Graham and Kane hope the viral videos serve as a warning to other partygoers. Social media users commented on the mishap, with one joking: 'IQ lower than his shoe size.'
