Pitbull Fans Shave Heads at Hyde Park Concert to Win Miami Trip
Pitbull Fans Shave Heads at Hyde Park Concert for Miami Trip

Six Pitbull fans genuinely shaved their heads at the rapper's Hyde Park concert this weekend for a chance to win a Miami getaway, copying the star's signature bald look. The contest, organised by alcohol brand Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, came after Pitbull claimed an unexpected world record for the most people wearing bald caps—22,141—while performing on stage.

Barbershop Turned Bald Spot

A barbershop near the concert venue was converted into a Fireball Bald Spot, where concert-goers abandoned their bald caps, underwent the shave, and spun Fireball's Winning Wheel. Six enthusiasts opted for the real shave instead of the caps.

Alaeddin Alayyan secured an extraordinary trip for two to Miami, Florida, Pitbull's hometown. He will experience a five-night stay at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, VIP airport transfers, an exclusive South Beach nightclub experience, and spending money. The remaining five participants departed with prizes including ice-cold shots, cash rewards, a fresh shave, and bragging rights.

Celebration of an Iconic Look

Fireball Cinnamon Whisky described the event as a 'celebration of one of pop culture's most recognisable looks'. Alaeddin said: 'The moment they said I'd won I completely forgot I was bald. It's probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever done - but that's exactly why I did it. Hair grows back. But a trip to Miami? That is a story that'll last forever.'

A spokesperson for Fireball, Lorenzo Farronato, said: 'You don't often get the chance to reward someone for shaving their head. When we saw thousands of fans embracing the iconic look, we thought we would create an experience for the few willing to make it permanent, at least for a while. That's how one shaved head becomes a trip to Miami.'
