Liverpool Transfer News: Barcola Wants Move, Diomande to Real Madrid
Liverpool Transfer: Barcola Decision, Diomande to Madrid

Liverpool's pre-season preparations are underway, but the club has only made one signing so far: Victor Munoz from Osasuna. Fans are anxious about the lack of activity, especially with key departures like Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konate needing replacements. However, the pace may accelerate.

Barcola Makes Decision

Liverpool target Bradley Barcola has signalled his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain. The winger has two years remaining on his contract and is no longer engaging in discussions over fresh terms, according to French publication Mercato.

A major obstacle is PSG's £140m asking price. Liverpool are trying to negotiate a compromise, with the France international willing to enter talks. The Reds see Barcola as a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who departed this summer.

Diomande Edges Closer to Real Madrid

Liverpool's pursuit of Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig has failed. Real Madrid have reportedly struck an agreement in principle to sign the Ivorian winger. Liverpool explored a deal earlier in the window but were unwilling to match Leipzig's valuation after an £85m offer was rejected.

PSG were also interested but fell short on the transfer fee. Real's £85.4m bid was also rejected on Friday, but they have since returned with a second offer. Diomande has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with the Spanish giants.
