Liverpool ONE Halloween Party Returns With Monsters and Free Fun

Liverpool ONE's annual Halloween party returns today (October 31) with a five-hour programme of family-friendly activities, including performances, monsters and free events. The shopping complex will host the spooky celebrations from 11am to 4pm, with entertainment hosted by radio presenter Leanne Campbell.

Families can take part in drumming workshops, face painting, zombie dance workshops and street performances, alongside spooky characters such as witches and 'the Humber monster'. The popular Halloween fancy dress competition also returns, with the winner receiving £200 to spend at Liverpool ONE and prizes for the runners-up.

River of Light and Christmas Plans

Until November 1, Liverpool will be transformed by River of Light, with installations lighting up the city. One of the standout artworks, Paradigm, will be located at Liverpool ONE's Thomas Steers Way.

Brendan Hattam, centre director at Liverpool ONE, said: "October is shaping up to be a jam-packed month at Liverpool ONE. The return of River of Light and the free Liverpool ONE Halloween Party are set to bring even more excitement to the city, offering fantastic experiences for families, visitors, and the wider community to enjoy."

Christmas Toy Parade and Decorations

Liverpool city centre will be brought to a standstill as thousands come out to celebrate the return of the Christmas Toy Parade, part of Liverpool ONE's Christmas showcase rolling out from November 6. The parade returns on Saturday, November 14, in collaboration with Walk The Plank, with festive characters including dancing toys and Santa parading across the complex to a musical soundtrack at intervals throughout the day.

From Friday, November 6, Liverpool ONE will unveil new decorations to add to its existing Christmas lights scheme. The centrepiece will be a new 30-metre Christmas tree at Paradise Place, allowing guests to walk through the middle of the tree for the first time. Other additions include a twinkling light canopy at Peter's Lane and Keys Court, a light curtain at the Church Street and Keys Court entrance, and a light drape and super-sized suspended bauble at Peter's Square.
