Highland Holidays has been named the best holiday park in Scotland in a survey of Which? readers. The lochside locations, nestled at the foot of mountains, took the top spot in Scotland and ranked 10th out of 21 UK holiday parks included in the survey.
New park's rapid rise
Highland Holidays is one of the newer UK parks, having opened its first site near Ben Nevis in 2020, just before the first lockdown. Owners Andrew and Emily used the unexpectedly quiet period to transform the park, creating a new reception area, shop, cafe, toilets, and shower block, as well as brand-new pods and luxurious hot-tub lodges.
The company has since opened a second site in Tyndrom, a handy spot for those heading up to the West Highland Way or passing through to Glencoe, Oban, or the Scottish Islands, and a third in Oban. The Oban site is set by the sea in the West Highlands and has views of the waves and mountains.
Customer scores and value
Highland Holidays is one of the cheapest parks in the survey at £56 per person, per night, with guests giving it three stars out of five for value for money. The park scored 4/5 for both the quality of the accommodation and the food and drink, netting an overall customer score of 74%.
Despite the Scottish winner, the highest-ranked holiday parks are all in England or Wales. First-placed Potters operates from Essex and Norfolk, while second-placed Hoburn Holidays runs sites in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and the Cotswolds. The survey was based on responses from 2,221 Which? Connect panel members and the general public, conducted in February and March 2026.
