What was meant to be a dream holiday to Hawaii turned into a nightmare for passengers aboard a luxury cruise ship, as many were forced to sleep on the gym floor due to cabin problems.
Furious travellers shared their ordeal after their much-anticipated trip descended into chaos when their cabins became uninhabitable. Instead of enjoying plush beds and ocean views, passengers were given yoga mats and thin blankets to sleep on in the ship's gym.
'It Was Like a Refugee Camp'
One passenger described the scene as resembling a "refugee camp," with exhausted holidaymakers sprawled across the floor. "We paid thousands for this trip, and this is how we’re treated?" another frustrated traveller complained.
Cruise Line Responds
The cruise line issued an apology, acknowledging the "unacceptable" conditions and offering partial refunds. However, many passengers feel the compensation doesn’t make up for the ruined holiday.
With social media flooded with complaints, the incident has sparked a wider debate about passenger rights and the standards expected on luxury cruises.
