The animated spin-off Stranger Things: Tales from 85 has arrived on Netflix, but fans will notice that the familiar voices of Hawkins' heroes have been replaced. Rather than reuniting the original cast, the series features a completely new ensemble taking on the roles of Eleven, Mike, Dustin and the rest of the gang.
Brooklyn Davey Norstedt steps into the role of Eleven, previously played by Millie Bobby Brown. Jolie Hoang-Rappaport voices Max, while Luca Diaz takes over as Mike. Elisha Williams plays Lucas, Braxton Quinney voices Dustin, and Benjamin Plessala portrays Will. Brett Gipson takes on the role of Hopper, originally played by David Harbour.
Alysia Reiner replaces Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, and Alessandra Antonelli voices Nancy Wheeler. Jeremy Jordan plays Steve, and Janeane Garofalo joins as a new character, Anna Baxter, alongside Odessa A’zion as her daughter Nikki Baxter. Lou Diamond Phillips voices another new addition, Daniel Fischer.
Robert Englund, who played Victor Creel in the original series, is the only returning cast member but takes on a completely new role as Cosmo. Other new cast members include Valeria Rodriguez as Rosario and Jack Griffo as Jeff. The series is set between earlier seasons of the main show, offering a younger version of the beloved characters.
