Amazon has announced five new internet-connected cameras for its Ring range, designed to monitor both the inside and outside of homes around the clock.
Outdoor cameras lead the lineup
Three of the new devices are built for outdoor use. The Outdoor Camera 4K Plus is described by Amazon as its most flexible 4K Ring camera yet, thanks to multiple power modes including battery, solar, plug-in and hardwired. This means it can be DIY-installed and screwed to walls, fences, or a shed, with no need for mains power.
The Spotlight Camera 4K Plus is Ring's first 4K battery-powered camera with a built-in light, purpose-built for front doors, pathways, and side entrances. For larger areas, the Floodlight Camera 4K Plus offers 2,000 lumens of dual floodlight illumination, making it suitable for large driveways and bigger gardens.
Indoor options and smart tracking
Amazon has also expanded its indoor range. The Indoor Camera 4K delivers pin-sharp 4K clarity and a 115-degree field of view, along with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 for improved streaming and a physical privacy shutter.
The Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera 2K offers 360 degrees of pan coverage and 175 degrees of tilt, and uses computer vision-based motion detection and intelligent tracking to follow action across a room.

All five cameras will go on sale soon and can work on their own or in tandem with each other and Ring Doorbells. Pricing is as follows:

Ring is also releasing the new Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam 2K, which follows motion with 360 degrees of coverage."
