The Polestar 3 has received a significant update, moving to an 800V electrical architecture that boosts DC charging to up to 350kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in as little as 22 minutes. Efficiency improves by up to 6%, and new Breathe Charge software can add up to 38% more range in a 10-minute session compared to the previous setup.
Polestar has also introduced a new in-house rear motor, increased power across the lineup, a more rear-biased feel, updated anti-roll bars, and extensive steering software refinement. Core computing power jumps from 30 to 254 trillion operations per second with the switch to the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin processor, enhancing active safety, battery performance, and sensor management.
The updated Polestar 3 retains its distinctive design and premium cabin, offering a well-rounded driving experience. The lineup is now simpler: Rear motor (£76,540), Dual motor (£84,540), and Performance (£92,040). These updates make the car more comfortable, with more natural steering and improved charging, solidifying its position in the premium electric SUV segment.
