The Executive by Escape Lounges, a new premium lounge at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2, has opened its doors, featuring what is believed to be the UK's first airport lounge carvery. The lounge offers a chef-led dining experience with live cooking stations, made-to-order dishes, barista coffee, and premium drinks.
Five Distinct Areas
The lounge is divided into five distinct areas, each offering a unique experience. Leaf & Loaf serves freshly baked pastries, The Humm provides lighter dishes and deli-style options, and The Loom hosts the carvery and live cooking. The Boll offers restaurant-style seated dining with table service and a chef-led menu. Guests can also enjoy a bespoke "One Last Treat" gumball machine with locally inspired sweets and rewards.
Investment and Choice
Chris Woodroofe, managing director at Manchester Airport, said: "Our £1.5bn investment in Terminal 2 has transformed the experience for millions of passengers and The Executive is another exciting addition to that offer. Passengers increasingly want choice when they travel, and this new lounge provides something genuinely different." The lounge is open to all passengers travelling through Terminal 2.
