Man Utd Transfer: Tchouameni Path Opens as Double Exit Takes Twist

Manchester United are intensifying their midfield rebuild under manager Michael Carrick, with Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni emerging as a prime target. The French international could be available after Eduardo Camavinga's decision to stay at the Bernabeu, potentially forcing Madrid to sell Tchouameni to raise funds.

Camavinga Decision Boosts Tchouameni Chase

According to The Athletic, cited by the Mirror, Eduardo Camavinga's refusal to leave Real Madrid opens the door for Manchester United to sign Aurelien Tchouameni. New Madrid boss Jose Mourinho wants to add a creative midfielder, possibly Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, and is prepared to offload at least one current squad member.

Fede Valverde is considered untouchable, while Dani Ceballos is expected to leave on a free transfer despite a year left on his contract. With Camavinga viewing an exit as "impossible," Tchouameni may be sacrificed to generate transfer funds.

The Mail reports Tchouameni is one of six midfielders on United's shortlist to partner Atalanta's Ederson, whose arrival is virtually confirmed. The other five targets all play in the Premier League: Tyler Adams, Carlos Baleba, Mateus Fernandes, Alex Scott, and Adam Wharton.

Goalkeeping Shake-Up: Onana and Vitek Futures in Doubt

Senne Lammens' impressive debut season at Old Trafford has cast uncertainty over Manchester United's other goalkeepers. Andre Onana and Radek Vitek have both been linked with moves away in search of regular first-team football.

Onana spent last season on loan at Trabzonspor, whose president Ertugrul Dogan expressed interest in a permanent deal. However, Turkish outlet Sabah reports that Trabzonspor, who finished third in the Super Lig, are now considering alternatives, including Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Radek Vitek, after a standout loan at Bristol City, has attracted interest from newly-promoted Premier League clubs Coventry, Hull, and Ipswich, according to The Mail. United are reportedly open to letting the Czech youngster leave, while a return for Sam Johnstone as an experienced understudy to Lammens is being explored.
