Casado started only 12 matches across all competitions last term as Barcelona clinched the Spanish title. Despite his limited game time, he previously dismissed the possibility of leaving the Camp Nou. However, according to Marca, the midfielder is now open to a departure, with his situation unlikely to improve next season.
United's Interest and Competition
United's interest dates back to January, when they made an initial enquiry. While no formal offer has been submitted, the club are leading the race for his signature. However, they face competition from Bayer Leverkusen and clubs from Saudi Arabia, though Casado prefers a move to a more ambitious league.
Barcelona are keen to finalize his exit before the end of June to balance their books, but acknowledge that deadline is unlikely without significant developments in the coming days.
