Manchester United are working on multiple transfer fronts with less than a week until the new Premier League season begins. The Reds are reportedly close to completing a deal for 18-year-old midfielder Louis Page from Leicester City, with a fee of £10million plus add-ons mentioned.

Page would become United's fourth summer signing after Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos, and Karl Darlow. The club continues to be linked with Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, though Chelsea are also interested in the England international.
Defensive targets linked
Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall and Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae are both being linked with moves to Old Trafford, but both appear unlikely at this stage. United kick off their 2026/27 Premier League campaign away at newly-promoted Hull City on Saturday, August 22, with the 12.30pm kick-off set to see first competitive outings for Tielemans and Santos.
