Allan Donald has been promoted to chief product officer at Guardian Media Group, moving up from his previous role as vice president of product. He joined the Guardian in January and will now join the executive team.
In his new role, Donald will oversee end-to-end product strategy across the Guardian's digital platforms, shaping how millions of readers worldwide consume and engage with Guardian journalism.
Donald previously served as director of product at Netflix and has extensive experience at the intersection of content and technology, with a background spanning media and product development.
