The Kortz Center Heist, likely the final major heist before Grand Theft Auto 6, is now available in GTA Online. This update introduces new content, with the heist as the centerpiece. However, players cannot start it immediately; several prerequisites must be met.
Prerequisites: Mansion and Art Studio
First, players must purchase one of three available mansions in the game. After acquiring a mansion, the Art Studio must be bought for $4,700,000 via the Prix Luxury Real Estate app on the in-game smartphone. Sufficient capital is required, or players may need to grind for funds.
Discounts are available: a $1 million discount for players who achieved Tier 3: Elitist of the Fine Art Collector program before the update, and another $1 million discount for GTA+ members. These discounts stack, reducing the cost to $2,700,000 for eligible players.
Starting the Heist
Once the Art Studio is purchased, visit it at least once to trigger a short cutscene introducing its features. After that, locate the heist planning board inside the Art Studio. Interact with it to view setup missions: 11 total, but only 6 are mandatory. Completing optional missions increases the chance of success and potential payout.
After visiting the Art Studio, players can start setup missions remotely by calling Raf on their phone, which brings up a menu to begin missions while exploring Los Santos. Once the required setup missions are complete, the Kortz Center Heist can be started for real.
According to Rockstar Games, this heist is part of the final major update for GTA Online before GTA 6, offering a significant new challenge for players.
