Co-op has introduced a major change at 33 of its stores across the UK, expanding its online grocery delivery system through a new partnership with Uber Eats. The collaboration, supported by Snappy Technologies’ OA Platform, aims to make shopping 'quicker and easier' for customers.
Expansion in East Anglia
The launch adds 33 Co-op stores across East Anglia to the food delivery service, allowing shoppers to conveniently order groceries and household essentials via Uber Eats. This move gives customers more flexibility and extends Co-op's online reach in the East of England.
Technology Integration
The service integrates Snappy Technologies’ OA platform, which enables retailers to manage multiple online channels through a single solution. This simplifies the management of online operations for Co-op.
Simon Dryell, chief commercial officer at East of England Co-op, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Uber Eats and launch the service across 33 of our food stores. Snappy Technologies’ OA platform has given us a fast and efficient route to launch on Uber Eats while simplifying the management of our online channels. This partnership helps us meet the changing needs of our communities, ensuring customers can access the products they need quickly and easily from their local East of England Co-op.”
Existing Partnership
The expansion builds on Co-op's existing partnership with the Snappy Technologies OA platform, further enhancing their digital capabilities.
