Community Fibre has launched a flash sale offering full fibre broadband from just 55p a day, undercutting major rivals Sky and Virgin Media. The London-based provider is offering new customers 25% off its fibre plans until June 3, with the cheapest 100Mbps package available at £17.10 per month, down from £19.
The sale includes a range of speeds, with 300Mbps at £18.90, 500Mbps at £20.70, 1Gbps at £22.50 and a premium 5Gbps service at £47.25, all reduced from higher prices. Community Fibre claims its speeds are up to 72 times faster than the national average download speed and 272 times faster for uploads.
The deals are only available to customers in London and selected areas of the southeast, with a postcode checker on the provider's website to confirm eligibility. Community Fibre says its 2.5Gbps package can save £280 compared to Virgin Media's Gig2 product, and its 100Mbps deal undercuts Sky's equivalent full fibre offering, which is currently priced at £24 per month.
Prices are fixed until April 2027, after which they will rise by £3 per month, increasing to £4 at the end of the 24-month contract term. The provider charges no setup fees, includes a router, and gives a next-gen WiFi 7 router for its fastest plans. It also participates in the One Touch Switch scheme, enabling customers to change providers without contacting their old one.
Despite being lesser-known, Community Fibre has a 4.7-star Trustpilot rating from over 87,000 reviews, with 90% awarding five stars. Customer feedback praises its installation and reliability, though one reviewer described the app as “terrible and doesn’t work.” Another said the service had been “100% reliable for the last two years.”
