Shark SteamSpot at £69: Clean Floors, No Chemical Smell

Amazon has reduced the Shark SteamSpot with Steam Blaster Technology to £69, down from £99.99, saving shoppers 31%. Over 800 units have been purchased in the past month.

How It Works

The SteamSpot uses hot steam alone to disinfect floors, cutting the need for chemical cleaning products. It is said to remove 99.9% of household bacteria with a targeted blast of steam.

Lightweight and manoeuvrable, the cleaner swivels between obstacles and reaches hard-to-access areas. It offers three cleaning modes: low for quick clean-ups, medium for everyday use, and high for deep cleaning and stuck-on stains.

Design and Accessories

A removable water tank detaches for easy refilling in seconds. The cleaner comes with two washable dirt grip pads that are reusable and machine washable. It is suitable for all sealed hard floors, including hardwood, marble, tile, stone, laminate, and vinyl.

Customer Reviews

The SteamSpot has received high ratings on Amazon. One five-star reviewer wrote: "Powerful, easy to use and leaves floors genuinely clean. It cleans beautifully, even on textured or uneven tiles, and the steam boost feature is great for tougher marks. It also doesn't leave the floor soaking wet, even on the higher setting, just a fresh, clean feel with no chemical smell."

Another added: "Easy to handle. Quick heat-up and very happy with the end result. I have saved on cleaning products I used to use with my mop."

A third customer said: "This steam blaster is absolutely amazing. I thought my floors were pretty clean, but after using this, I was shocked at how much dirt it got up. It's five stars from me. I highly recommend it."

One reviewer gave four stars, noting: "Very good steamer, good value, but would be better if it were detached so you could use it in your hand." Another said: "It's not as powerful as I would like, though it does seem to clean the floor. The pad gets soaked quickly. I'm happy that I got it, but I think a cheaper one would be just as good."
