Jackery portable power stations are currently on sale with savings of up to £1,039, making them a strong option for camping trips or as a backup power source at home during power cuts. The promotion covers a range of models, from compact units for keeping everyday gadgets charged while camping to high-capacity power stations designed to run compatible appliances on road trips or during unexpected outages.
Compact and High-Capacity Options
For smaller devices, Jackery's more compact Explorer models are available. Shoppers needing greater capacity can buy the Explorer 1000 v2 at £398, reduced from £899, which offers 1,070Wh and weighs 10.8kg. It is described as a versatile choice for camping, caravanning and emergency backup.
The Explorer 1000 v2 uses LiFePO4 battery cells engineered for roughly 4,000 charging cycles and can reach a full charge in as little as one hour using its Emergency Super Charging mode. A bundle with a 100W solar panel is also available for off-grid charging.
Top-End Power Stations and Bundles
At the higher end of the range, Jackery's larger-capacity stations and bundles, such as the 3kWh Solar Bundle Best Seller, are priced at £1,679, reduced from £2,599. These are aimed at shoppers needing considerably more power for home backup, caravanning or extended off-grid trips.
Depending on the model, these units can run equipment including fridges, lights, Wi-Fi routers, coffee makers and other compatible appliances for over 30 hours. Selected versions are also sold bundled with solar panels for off-grid charging.
Alternatives and Customer Reviews
Another option is the DJI Power 2000 Portable Power Station, priced at £959 from Currys, which offers up to 3,000W output, operates at 29dB and is compatible with solar panels. Argos stocks the EcoFlow Delta 3 Portable Power Station at £949, which powers everyday appliances, fridges, TVs and computers, and with X-Boost technology can handle ovens, hair dryers and kettles up to 2400W.
The Jackery products have drawn strong reviews. One customer, writing about the Explorer 1000 v2, said: "First, this item is robust and space-efficient, fitting seamlessly in my workspace. When the power goes out, it becomes a real game changer. I can continue my tasks as if everything is normal, which is quite impressive. The most advantageous aspect for me? The USB-C ports. I can connect my Mac directly to it without needing an adapter. Incredibly useful!"
Another reviewer commented: "Very well thought out and designed piece of kit. Has helped us out of quite a few situations where power simply wasn't available. Easy to use with oodles of options - especially power saving and fast charging for emergencies."
Not all feedback was positive, with one reviewer noting: "Service homework, delivery and packaging were great. Unfortunately when I try to use the power station I got an error code, this is being looked into and customer service so far has been great." Despite this, most customers appeared satisfied, with one saying: "Great item. Allows me to put my solar panels in different places whilst keeping the battery pack inside."
Jackery's sale includes further models and solar generator bundles across a range of capacities, covering everything from weekend camping trips to emergency home backup.
