Boots has reduced the price of YSL Black Opium Illicit Green Eau de Parfum 75ml by 50% as part of its Star Gift offers, bringing the cost down from over £100 to £52.50 for a limited time. The fragrance, a lighter twist on the classic Black Opium, has garnered a 4.8-star rating on the Boots website since its 2022 launch.
Created by Black Opium Master Perfumer Nathalie Lorson and award-winning Parisian mixologist Margot Lecarpentier, the scent combines a signature black coffee base with green mandarin, creamy fig, vanilla bourbon, jasmine, pear, and cedar. Shoppers have described it as 'addictive' and 'perfect for both daytime and evening wear'.
One reviewer commented: 'I didn't think I would ever sway from Black Opium and then this captured me. Literally, addictive and extremely pretty.' Another added: 'I found it very refreshing and not too heavy. I think I may have to switch my Black Opium to this one.'
