Pooch and Mutt has launched a luxury seasonal range for dogs, and shoppers can currently get 15% off the collection using the code AFXMAS15. The range includes an advent calendar, festive treats, dental chews, dinners and bone broth gravy, all inspired by classic festive flavours such as gingerbread, turkey and cranberry.
Festive range for dogs
The Gingerbread Advent Calendar is priced at £11.99, or £10.19 with the discount code. Behind each of the 24 doors are soft, meaty gingerbread-flavoured treats made with high-protein chicken, collagen, pumpkin for natural fibre and gut-friendly postbiotics. The treats are grain-free, making them suitable for dogs with delicate stomachs, and they are also suitable for puppies. Each door contains two treats, making it ideal for households with two dogs or for dividing between morning and evening.
The Christmas Advent and Selection Hamper costs £19.54 with the code, reduced from £22.99. The bundle includes an advent calendar, an assortment of treats and a meal, which would cost shoppers around £30 if bought separately. It features the exclusive Beef, Carrot and Parsnip Christmas Dinner, which does not appear to be sold separately.
Healthy ingredients and festive flavours
The range includes Goose, Apple and Sage Dental Sticks, created to promote oral care and digestion, with goose providing high-quality protein, apple providing natural fibre and sage said to promote fresh breath. The Pigs in Blankets Meaty Treats feature pork, collagen for healthy skin and a shiny coat, and postbiotics to support a balanced gut microbiome. The Turkey and Cranberry Jerky is crafted with 90% turkey, while cranberries are known to support urinary tract health.
The Chicken Gravy Bone Broth is made with 97% chicken broth and can be drizzled over a pet's Christmas dinner or frozen into ice moulds. It also contains hemp oil, linked with calming and relaxation, and apple cider vinegar for skin and coat health.
Other festive pet ranges
Forthglade is offering 30% off its festive collection, which includes a Christmas Wet Food Variety Pack, Three Bird Feast Treats and Turkey and Cranberry soft bites. Lily's Kitchen has priced its advent calendar for dogs at £10.50, while its wider festive selection includes festive jerky, a Christmas dinner and a tin of meaty treats priced at £18, housed in a reusable tin.
Shopper reviews
Last year's Pooch and Mutt bundle bagged a 4.9 star rating from shoppers, particularly those with picky pups. One customer said: "My very fussy frenchie will only eat Pooch and Mutt. She's 5 and had various health problems and her stomach has been fine since being on these products and she can't get enough of the treats."
Another added: "My dog is very fussy so sometimes it's hard to give him new treats as he only likes the same ones. I gave him the advent calendar one and he loved it! He even started scratching the box because he wanted more." A five-star review read: "We have fussy little yorkie and she refused so many treats. I bought her Christmas bundle and I gave her couple treats and she begged for more."
One customer suggested an improvement, noting there was no option to send a personalised message with the hamper when sending it to a friend. Pet owners can use the code AFXMAS15 to save 15% on the Pooch and Mutt Christmas collection.
