Oodie has launched its early Black Friday sale, offering up to 60% off its oversized blanket hoodies. The brand's discounts come as many home workers seek affordable ways to stay warm without turning up the heating.
One home worker purchased the Harry Potter Honeydukes Oodie at 50% off, priced at £37.50 down from £75. She had previously used cheaper alternatives from Primark and Jim Jam The Label but was curious about the official Oodie's performance.
She noted significant differences: the Oodie is longer, finishing below the knee, with a large hood that covers the upper face. The front pocket is lined with sherpa fleece and can even hold a hot water bottle. Elasticated wrists make it practical for typing or washing up.
The reviewer found that a t-shirt underneath sufficed, unlike her other hoodies which required a jumper. However, the Oodie comes only in one size (based on 6XL), which may not suit everyone.
The Honeydukes design is now sold out, but many other designs remain in the sale. The Oodie is also praised for lounging, acting like a blanket when lying down.
