Fashion writer Bethan tried on the Next jeans shoppers can't stop talking about. If there's one denim trend set to dominate in 2026, it's indigo wash, and she thinks she has found the perfect pair for £35 on the high street.
Deep, dark washes are making a confident return, cemented by Prada showcasing indigo denim for their Autumn 2025 show. At Next, shoppers have been raving about the Rinse Blue High Rise Stretch Wide Leg Jeans, which retail at £35. Crafted from soft stretch denim made from 98% cotton and 2% elastane, they are designed to hug the waist and hips before falling into a relaxed, flared wide leg.
The high-rise cut defines the waist but also flatters the lower tummy, while the double button fastening adds interest and security. The deep hem finish offers a smarter, more tailored alternative to chunky cuffs. The jeans come in sizes 6-22 and five leg lengths from petite to tall.
Shoppers have praised the jeans for being 'super comfortable' and have purchased multiple pairs. One said: 'I bought these a couple of weeks ago and have been wearing them at least twice a week. Super comfortable and great to dress up or down.' Another noted: 'Beautiful jeans. Very generous in size! Stretchy material.' Some have mentioned the leg length is on the longer side, suggesting opting for a shorter length unless particularly tall.
For comparison, Marks and Spencer offers similar wide-leg jeans at £36 in five colours and five lengths, sizes 6-24, while New Look's Navy Adalae High Waisted Wide Leg Jeans are priced at £34.99. One New Look shopper said: 'I honestly love these jeans so much! After trying on what felt like five thousand different pairs from other brands, these are the only ones that actually fit me perfectly.'
