M&S Unveils Affordable Spring Homeware Range

Marks and Spencer has launched a new collection of home accessories and furniture for spring, offering stylish updates at accessible prices. The range includes cabbage leaf-inspired dishware, scallop-edged cushions, and geometric print towels, catering to various aesthetics from vintage revival to neutral tones.

Claire Roberts, M&S homeware design lead, advised: “If your budget is limited, focus on small, impactful changes like updating soft furnishings and adding statement pieces to refresh your home.” She also suggested complementing spaces with seasonal flowers like daffodils and tulips.

The cabbage-inspired tableware, a nod to 18th-century designs, is a standout. A large cabbage bowl costs £15, while plates are £10, available in green, white, and purple. This is significantly cheaper than high-end alternatives like Bordallo Pinheiro, where similar items can exceed £200.

Scallop-edged cushions in powder blue and coral or mint green and cream retail at £20 each, reflecting trends like “coastal grandma” style. Geometric print towels, priced between £8 and £20, come in black, red, yellow, green, and blue, offering a timeless update for bathrooms.

The collection is available now in stores and online, with pieces ranging from dishware to soft furnishings, designed to refresh homes without requiring a complete overhaul.
