M&S Food has confirmed plans to open a new store in the heart of Wembley Park, near Wembley Stadium. The store will span approximately 14,300 square feet and is expected to create over 60 jobs.
Store features and location
The new store will offer market-style fresh produce from select farm partners, an in-store bakery, and dedicated flower and wine shops. Wembley Park attracts over 17 million visitors each year, including those attending events at Wembley Stadium.
Opening timeline and other London openings
The store is expected to open next summer. This year, M&S has already opened new food stores in Tooting Broadway and Tottenham Court Road, and unveiled its transformed Pantheon flagship store on Oxford Street. Additional new food stores at Bell Green Retail Park in Sydenham and The Elephant Development in Elephant and Castle are set to open later this year. These four openings are expected to create over 150 jobs for Londoners.
Expansion plans and quotes
Last year, M&S released a list of over 500 potential locations for future food stores, with over 150 in the capital, including over 20 in North West London.
