Marks and Spencer has introduced a new product to its The Big Daddy line of chocolates, which is available in stores now and through online-only supermarket Ocado.
Crafted with velvety milk and indulgent dark chocolate, The Big Daddy has taken social media by storm and features caramel, peanut butter and roasted peanuts within its 300g bars.
Advent calendar and Frozen Big Daddy
With December just over six weeks away, The Big Daddy range has been boosted with the launch of its very own advent calendar. Packed with 24 days of miniature treats, M&S declares: "The Big Daddy Advent Calendar counts down to Christmas with a chunky chocolate bite behind every door."
Enjoy peanut bites and pistachio bites, plus a bar of The Little Big Daddy on Christmas Day. Made with 100% responsibly sourced cocoa. Calendars are priced at £12.
M&S has also unveiled The Frozen Big Daddy, which NewFoodsUK raved about on Instagram: "Brand new the Frozen Big Daddy bar at M&S! This bar is huge!"
The retailer describes its 681g dessert in a production description that reads: "This frozen treat is packed with pistachio nuts and mascarpone cream, with a ribbon of salted caramel sauce running through the centre. It's coated in creamy milk chocolate sprinkled with crunchy pistachio pieces." The Frozen Big Daddy will set shoppers back £15.
Pistachio variant and other treats
Hot on the heels of the original Big Daddy success, M&S previously launched The Big Daddy Pistachio. The retailer announced at the time of its release: "The wait is over. Introducing our viral Big Daddy bar, now in an irresistible pistachio flavour."
Featuring our signature rich, creamy milk chocolate layered with gooey sweet and salty caramel, now filled with a chunky pistachio layer with roasted pistachios, velvety pistachio crème, and a light, crunchy biscuit crumb. M&S added: "After our Big Daddy Bar was named the UK's answer to Dubai chocolate last summer, everyone's going to be talking about this epic upgraded version."
