Marks and Spencer has announced the return of its Gingerbread and White Chocolate Cookies, a festive favourite that has proven popular since its debut in 2024. The retailer shared the news on its official Instagram page, prompting a flurry of excited comments from shoppers.
Return of a Festive Hit
The cookies, which blend warming gingerbread, creamy white chocolate chunks and a hint of salted caramel fudge, were first released as part of M&S's festive range in 2024. They quickly became a bestseller, with many stores struggling to keep them on the shelves. They returned last year with similar success, and are now set to come back for a third festive season.
However, there is a catch: the cookies are not scheduled to appear on shelves until September, meaning shoppers will have to wait a few more weeks to get their hands on them.
Price and Availability
M&S has yet to confirm the price of this year's bakery-made cookies. Last year, they retailed at £3.25 for a pack of five. The retailer's packs of five bakery cookies typically range in price from £1.20 to £3.90, depending on the flavour.
Shoppers React
Fans have flocked to the comment section of the post to share their excitement. One person called it the 'BEST NEWS EVEEEEEERRRRRR', while another commented: "Thank god these are my fave". A third wrote: "No these can't come back I'm gonna gain so much weight."
However, some felt it was too early for festive-themed products, with one shopper arguing: "In August? Come on M&S...do better...it's still summer time! Leave it until October."
