McDonald's UK has confirmed the return of its Mini Hash Browns from Tuesday, August 25, as part of a wider menu update. The bite-sized breakfast item, served in a 15-piece Sharebox, will be available during breakfast hours until 11am.
The Mini Hash Browns were first introduced in 2024 as a shareable version of the classic hash brown but were discontinued later that year, prompting calls from customers for their return.

A spokesperson for McDonald's said: "It's a universal truth that nothing hits like the golden crispiness of a McDonald's Hash Brown and that's why McDonald's UK&I is excited to announce the return of the beloved breakfast item - Mini Hash Browns! Fans can get their hands on these mini must haves from Tuesday, 25th August until 11am."
The spokesperson added: "Each Mini Hash Brown is made to deliver the same irresistible crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior that we have all come to love, but now in mini form! They're available in a 15-piece Sharebox to enjoy with family or friends."

Other New Menu Items
Alongside the returning Mini Hash Browns, McDonald's is reportedly launching a Big Arch burger with bacon. According to reports from New Food Spotter UK, garlic and black pepper nuggets may also return from August 25. The flavoured nuggets were popular when they previously appeared on the menu last year.
The updated menu is also reported to include cheesy potato bites, a fiery buffalo dip, and a limited-edition Candy Crush McFlurry. A sour cherry Sprite rounds out the new offerings as a refreshing drink option.
Availability
All new and returning items are expected to be available from Tuesday, August 25. The Mini Hash Browns will be served during breakfast hours only, so customers must order before 11am. The rest of the new menu items will be available throughout the day during standard opening hours.
