Lidl is selling an 'atmospheric light' it claims can brighten up outdoor spaces for up to eight hours when fully charged, priced at £5.99. The supermarket, which has roughly 1,000 locations countrywide, offers the LIVARNO Owl Solar Light Garden Decoration as part of its rotating 'Middle of Lidl' aisle.
The ornament shows a figurine-like object designed to look like a mother owl holding its baby. It is compact enough to fit anywhere outside and features a number of LEDs that can provide a brightness boost when the sun goes down. The item is only available for in-store collection, so anyone hoping to order one online will be disappointed.

Describing the ornament, Lidl said: 'Atmospheric lighting for your garden, patio or balcony, energy-saving LED with warm white light that automatically turns on at dusk. Can also be switched off manually.'
