Chocolate fans have a new festive treat to look out for after KitKat launched a brand-new Christmas product that is already appearing in UK supermarkets. The latest addition to the range is the KitKat Santa Orange Chocolate Filled Figure, which has begun rolling out in stores even though the festive season is more than four months away.
New festive treat on sale at Morrisons
Shoppers have already spotted the new chocolate at Morrisons, where it is selling for £1. The festive snack gives the classic KitKat Santa an orange twist. It features a smooth milk chocolate shell filled with crispy wafer and an orange-flavoured chocolatey centre.
Nestlé's statement on the launch
Nestlé said the new launch has been created to give KitKat fans something different to enjoy over the winter months. A Nestlé spokesperson said: "We're excited to bring something new to KitKat fans this winter with the launch of the new KitKat Santa Orange Chocolate Filled Figure."
"Combining a smooth milk chocolate shell with a crispy wafer and rich, orange-flavoured chocolatey centre, it's perfect for stocking fillers, Christmas treats or simply enjoying during the festive season."
Reactions from shoppers
The original KitKat Santa first went on sale during the 2024 Christmas season, with the new orange version becoming the latest addition to the festive range. Photos of the new product were shared by the Facebook account UK Newest Foods, which regularly posts about the latest food launches available in UK supermarkets.
Alongside the pictures, the account wrote: "NEW Orange KitKat Santa. New for Christmas 2026, out now at Morrisons for £1. Just the same as the OG KitKat Chocolate Santa but with VERY strong orange. Chocolate Orange lovers will really enjoy this."
Reacting to the news, many shoppers shared their excitement. One wrote: "I was desperate for something like this. On top of that, it looks adorable." However, others pointed out that it is way too soon to be releasing or eating Christmas-related snacks. One person wrote: "Releasing the snacks too early just means it's boring by Christmas and it's not magical anymore. Everyone's onto Easter by then. It's kinda sad."
The 29g chocolate KitKat figure is one of the first festive confectionery products to reach supermarket shelves this year.
