iPhone 18 Pro Black Friday deals launch with 500GB data

The first Black Friday deals on Apple's iPhone 18 Pro have arrived, with Mobiles.co.uk offering 500GB of data for the price of 100GB on 24-month iD Mobile contracts.

Although the peak sales event is not until November 27, early offers have started to appear for Apple's latest smartphone. The Currys-backed site is discounting both the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, each with five times the usual data allowance.

Contract details and pricing

Monthly prices start at £52.99 for the iPhone 18 Pro and £56.99 for the Pro Max, alongside a £75 upfront cost. The deals include 500GB of data for the price of 100GB on a 24-month iD Mobile contract.

Mobiles.co.uk has not set an end date for the offers, instead advising shoppers to 'hurry' while stocks last. Customers should note that bills will increase at least twice during the minimum term, with the £52.99 tariff rising to £54.79 from April 2027 and £56.59 from April 2028.

Alternative offers and outright prices

Sky Mobile offers the iPhone 18 Pro at a lower £38 per month, but this only includes a small 100MB data allowance. Opting for Sky's unlimited data bundle for an extra £21 (was £28) sees the cost rise to £59 plus £12 upfront, on a longer 36-month contract.

No Black Friday price cuts have yet been seen on the iPhone 18 when bought outright, with retailers including Amazon and Argos still charging the full £1,199.

Expert review of the new model

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are described as the most powerful models ever thanks to Apple's advanced A20 processor. They feature a 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display respectively, a 48MP Pro Fusion triple-lens camera system, and battery life of up to 23 hours with 'typical use' and up to 34 hours of video playback.

The devices include an internal vapour chamber to prevent overheating, AI features from Siri and Apple Intelligence, and iOS 27 out of the box. Both models have a unibody aluminium design in four colours: glacier, burgundy, black and white.

Daily Express Technology Editor David Snelling called the iPhone 18 Pro 'another huge hit' following its September launch. "At first glance, it might look like Apple has barely changed a thing," he said. "There are some smart new colours, but the overall design remains the same as the iPhone 17 Pro."

"Look beyond the surface, though, and there's plenty going on under the hood that makes these Pro phones seriously tempting. First up is performance, with Apple introducing its new A20 Pro processor," he added. "The A19 Pro inside last year's flagship iPhones wasn't exactly slow, but the A20 Pro takes things another step forward. It also helps improve efficiency, and I've definitely noticed the difference when it comes to battery life."

Snelling noted that the phone retains usual Pro features including Super Retina XDR display technology, Face ID security, Apple Intelligence, new Siri and premium camera tools. "It's another iPhone that's pretty hard to fault," he said.

He did raise concerns about the price, noting the flagship now costs at least £1,199, and the extra weight from the vapour chamber, with the iPhone 18 Pro weighing 211g compared with 204g for its predecessor. Despite these issues, he concluded: "There's no denying that the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are stellar smartphones. They're incredibly fast, last longer between charges, take better pictures and offer some genuinely useful new features."
