The HOMCOM Smart Dehumidifier is available at Yimbly for £92.99, but shoppers can reduce the price to £83.70 by using the code AUTUMN10 at checkout. The device removes up to 10 litres of water from a room each day, helping to dry clothes and prevent damp and mould during colder months.
Features and Smart Connectivity
The dehumidifier offers multiple modes and speeds, letting users tailor settings to their needs. Running at about 45 decibels, it operates quietly, making it suitable for bedrooms and living areas. It also features smart connectivity, allowing control via compatible Alexa or Google Assistant devices.
Standing 50cm tall, 28cm wide and 24cm deep, the compact unit is especially useful for smaller properties where drying laundry indoors is difficult, according to the ECHO.
Shopper Reviews and Alternatives
Shoppers who bought the HOMCOM Smart Dehumidifier on Amazon praised it. One customer wrote: "Works very well. Clothes dry twice as quickly." Another five-star reviewer said: "This dehumidifier is a game changer; no more dampness on my walls, and it prevents mould."
A third reviewer added: "Favourably priced smart WiFi dehumidifier, good for a bedroom, smaller room etc. It seems to work jolly well for its category of 10L per day. The LED lights make it look attractive too, if that's a consideration. I even bought a second one."
Some feedback was mixed. One shopper at Debenhams noted: "Seems to be doing a good job. Easy to wheel around - I move it from room to room. The only issue is getting the water container back in the dehumidifier. It's a bit tricky. I'm happy with the sale price."
Another reviewer mentioned: "With all the heavy rain recently and a house over 100 years old, we're getting moisture coming through the walls, so we got this to help dry out the rooms and it's working really well. The casters make it easy to move. It's a bit tricky to get the back in again after emptying it, but that's just a case of getting used to it."
Other Dehumidifier Options
For an alternative, the ANSIO Dehumidifier Disposable Pack of 10 is available on Amazon for £9.95, with hydrophilic crystals to absorb moisture. The Pro Breeze Dehumidifier with Automatic Humidity Sensor is reduced from £134.99 to £119.99 on Amazon, featuring a 12L tank and a 24-hour timer.
