Greggs has opened a new bakery in Wallsend's Forum Shopping Centre, creating five jobs in the area. The shop takes over from the Refill Station vape store and is the second Greggs in the shopping centre area, with the new store opening facing the High Street.
New shop details and offerings
The new shop offers freshly prepared food and drinks throughout the day, from breakfast and lunch to sweet treats, and Fairtrade coffee. Customers can enjoy favourites including Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes and vegan alternatives, alongside seasonal menu launches such as the new Steak & Stilton Bake, and a range of over ice drinks, including the Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte.
A range of hot food is also available, including crispy Southern Fried Chicken Goujons to Hot Cinnamon Yum Yums, and a host of tasty pizza slices, including the new Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Chicken & Bacon, and Veggie Feast.
Seasonal launches and service options
The location will join other Greggs bakeries in offering the Festive Bake alongside other Christmas treats from Thursday, October 22. Customers can choose to sit in, take away, order ahead through Click + Collect on the Greggs App or enjoy delivery via Just Eat and Uber Eats.
The Wallsend shop opens with a modern new look and comfortable indoor seating. The opening hours are Monday – Saturday: 6am - 7pm, Sunday: 7am – 6pm.
