Greggs Launches Iced Matcha Range with Free Drink Offer for New App Users

Greggs has announced the launch of a new Iced Matcha range, set to hit stores from February 5. The trio of drinks includes the Iced Matcha Latte, Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte, and Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte, priced from £3, making it one of the most affordable iced matcha options on the high street.

The new range will be available via Click+Collect on the Greggs App, which offers rewards including a free drink after nine purchases. New app users can claim a free hot or iced drink upon registration, meaning they can get their first Iced Matcha for free.

Between February 11 and February 18, app users can earn double stamps on all Iced Matcha drinks. A Greggs spokesperson said: 'We're on a mission to offer our customers more choice and quality than ever before, without the premium price tag. By introducing our trio of Iced Matcha drinks, we’re making a trending favourite accessible to everyone.'

The launch follows a Reddit discussion where users praised Greggs' coffee as 'quietly the best and cheap', with some preferring it over Starbucks or Costa. However, some noted that coffee quality can vary by branch depending on the machines used.
