Nate's first opened in the summer of 2025 at Gateshead Leisure Centre, where Nathan Stokoe served pizza, pasta, and highly popular Sunday dinners through a hatch. After leaving the leisure centre late last year, he took over a vacant premises in Windy Nook, where the business grew through word of mouth.
Last week, Nathan announced the Windy Nook closure, citing rising rent and running costs that made it 'impossible' to continue.
