The Fitbit Inspire 3 fitness tracker, usually priced at £84, can now be bought for £44.44 by combining an Argos sale with a TopCashback new-member bonus.
How the deal works
Argos has reduced the tracker to £59.99 in a range of colours. New TopCashback members can then claim a £15 sign-up bonus, bringing the effective price down to £44.44. Existing Argos account holders pay £44.74. Click and Collect is free, while standard home delivery costs from £4.95.
To claim the discount, new members must register a free TopCashback account before purchasing through the website. The £15 bonus is credited within seven working days of the purchase.
Features and compatibility
The Inspire 3 tracks skin temperature, blood oxygen, stress, and workout readiness, displayed on a 16.07mm AMOLED touchscreen. It includes six months of Fitbit Premium, 20 workout modes, and is water-resistant to 50 metres. It also records steps, distance, sleep quality, and ECG readings.
The device works with iOS and Android. The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 offers a wider screen, longer battery life (13 days vs 10), and a lower price of £37.95 on Amazon. The Garmin Vivosmart 5, at £129, offers subscription-free data and incident detection.
Shopper reviews
Reviews on Argos and Amazon are largely positive. One five-star reviewer said: “We love our Fitbit inspires, originally bought to see whether we would want something on our wrists before buying an Apple Watch but never ended up upgrading as we loved the Fitbit so much.”
Another user praised the battery life: “I only need to charge it about once every 10 days.” However, one three-star review expressed disappointment with sleep tracking, noting it “couldn’t get a consistent heart rate reading” on some nights.
The British Heart Foundation advises that fitness trackers are not medical devices and cannot replace medical tests, but they can be helpful for monitoring health, and users should consult a doctor if they see worrying trends.
