Fat Face has reduced its Martha Blue Stripe Midi Dress from £69 to £42, a saving of £27, as shoppers rush to buy the 'light and airy' summer style. The dress, available in sizes 6 to 22 and in petite and regular lengths, is already seeing some sizes sell out.
Design and features
The dress features wide shoulder straps tied in a bow, allowing the bodice drop to be adjusted, a lightly fitted bodice, and a relaxed, tiered skirt. Made from 100% cotton, it is lightweight and breathable, ideal for hot weather. It also includes two side pockets.
The blue and white stripe fabric has a dainty floral print. The throw-on style makes it easy to wear, suitable for sandals on holiday, trainers and a tote for family days out, or ballet flats for work.
Shopper feedback
One reviewer said: "Great dress. Light and airy. Pretty pattern. Tried the regular length in Fatface but being 5ft 3 it didn’t hang quite right. Couldn’t quite decide whether I needed petite size or the short length but ordered the short as it’s only my leg length that lets me down. Fits absolutely perfect and so many compliments."
Another agreed: "This turned out to be much nicer than I expected, the fabric is such a pretty print and the waist is high enough to be flattering. I don’t usually suit a fully shirred bodice, but because of the high waist it was fine. The skirt is lovely and full and being able to knot the straps at the exact right height to suit you is a bonus."
One did warn, however: "I wanted to love this but the top offers 0 support and the straps are very awkwardly placed."
