Shoppers at a Lidl store were left astonished after spotting an unlikely animal 'shoplifting' in the bakery aisle. A robin was captured on video perched among croissants, pecking at crumbs and helping itself to the pastries.
The clip, which garnered over 140,000 likes on social media, shows the bird seemingly unperturbed by nearby shoppers until a trolley came too close, prompting it to fly away. It then landed safely atop a stack of almond croissants before eventually departing.
