Dunelm's Arbour Boucle Industrial Metal Arm Accent Chair, now priced at £99.50 down from £199, has drawn high ratings from shoppers who describe it as "stylish and very comfortable." The chair features soft-to-touch boucle upholstery and a foam-filled seat and backrest, making it suitable for reading corners, living rooms, or bedrooms.
Designed exclusively by Dunelm, the chair combines a sturdy wooden frame with sleek black metal legs, offering a contemporary look with mid-century design influences. Measuring 80cm x 69cm x 75cm, it fits smaller spaces where a full-sized armchair might be too large. Weighing 8kg, it is relatively easy to move, though full assembly is required.
Shopper Reviews Highlight Comfort and Style
Customer feedback on the chair has been largely positive. One reviewer wrote: "Perfect, exactly what I needed in my kitchen, looks really stylish and is very comfortable. Couldn't have been more delighted. Assembling it on my own was fairly straightforward and not difficult. Fitting the fabric needed an extra hand, but it was okay."
Another commented: "So pleased with this chair for my living room. The boucle material is good quality, much softer than others I've tried. Assembly was really straightforward and easy, the only bit I asked for help with was doing up one of the zips at the end. I would highly recommend it." A third added: "Lovely chair for the corner of our bedroom. Easy to assemble, comfortable and looks more expensive than it is."
Some Mixed Feedback on Durability
Not all reviews were entirely positive. One shopper noted: "Lovely, comfortable chair. Great value. Looks great. I just wish the base was stronger and the cushion was not so soft. I'm not that big and, after a short time, it's beginning to lose shape. Just worried the chair won't last long." Another said: "Sturdy and it looks great. The only downside is it's not very comfy; the foam doesn't have much bounce. But a good chair if you aren't going to sit on it much."
