The Devola 12L Dehumidifier, available on Amazon for £101.99 (down from £149.99), is winning praise from shoppers who say it is 'fairly quiet and cheap to run, and brilliant for drying laundry indoors' and 'way cheaper than a tumble dryer'.
The device helps remove moisture each day to prevent damp, mould and condensation, and the site highlights its 'impressive' airflow of 190m³/hr 'for faster, more effective drying'.
Features and Modes
The dehumidifier offers several modes, including One Touch Laundry Mode, Night Mode for quiet, energy-efficient overnight operation, Manual Mode, and Continuous Mode. It includes a digital display with adjustable humidity levels, a timer (1–8 hours), child lock, and auto restart after a power failure for 'seamless performance'.
It also features a washable dust filter, a replaceable carbon filter for air purification, a large 2.9-litre water tank to reduce frequent emptying, and a lightweight, easy-to-move body. The built-in auto shut-off function stops the unit when the tank is full, preventing spills.
Shopper Reviews
Shoppers have given the Devola 12L Dehumidifier an overall average rating of 4.6 out of five stars. One reviewer said: "This is the second Devola Dehumidifier I have bought. It's amazing how it draws the extra moisture from the air, leaving my house warmer and 'lighter' feeling. It's fairly quiet and cheap to run, and brilliant for drying laundry indoors. Way cheaper than a tumble dryer. Easy to use and easy to empty the water tank."
Another added: "Nice looking product, easy to use and energy efficient. I used it for the first time yesterday and it dried our laundry really well." A third commented: "Great dehumidifier! It's compact and easy to use. It dries my clothes quickly with an easy to clean and empty tank. It handles moisture brilliantly and is a quiet machine, too. Would recommend. It was great value for money, too, as they can be expensive."
Some feedback noted the fan is 'quite noisy when in the laundry mode', while another said the unit is white, not grey as they interpreted from the image.
