Co-op Wholesale ditches Peckish app for Snappy Shopper integration
Co-op Wholesale replaces Peckish app with Snappy Shopper

Co-op Wholesale has discontinued its rapid delivery app Peckish, switching its focus to a new IT integration with Snappy Shopper. The Peckish app initially launched in February 2025 with a goal to sign up 1,000 independent stores. Having fallen short of the target, Co-op Wholesale has decided to switch its focus to Snappy Shopper via Co-op’s Evolution EPoS till system.

Retailers gain access to major platforms

Retailers will also be able to handle orders from other major platforms like Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats through a single order aggregation tool.

Managing director explains decision

Katie Secretan, Co-op Wholesale managing director, commented: “We’re progressing through the year well and having to make decisions that are right by the business and right by our retailers, and this is one of those.

“Our primary focus is on supporting our retailers where they need it most and providing the best services to them that can help grow their business. This is why we’re doubling down with Snappy.

“We see their technology as leading for home delivery for independent retailers and are excited about expanding the relationship including releasing the direct EPOS integration with Evolution making it even easier for retailers to trade on platforms such as Snappy Shopper, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.”

Transition to established platform

“We are simplifying our quick commerce proposition by transitioning Peckish retailers onto an established and proven delivery platform, Snappy Shopper. This decision supports our retailers, who we are providing with access to a larger customer base and more mature delivery ecosystem in a single strategic quick commerce partner.”
