Boots has released its 2026 beauty advent calendars, and shoppers are already rushing to buy the Macmillan 24 Days of Joy Beauty Advent Calendar, which is currently available for less than half price.
The calendar normally costs £90 but is now priced at £44, offering a saving of £46. It contains luxury beauty products from premium brands including No7, Liz Earle and Champneys, with items ranging from nourishing lip masks to anti-ageing face creams and fragrances.
What's inside the calendar
Standout items include the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, the No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Night Cream and the Champneys Nourishing Hand Cream. In addition, £2 from each calendar sold is donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Boots has also released the No7 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar, one of its most highly anticipated yearly offerings. It contains 24 skincare and makeup items plus a gift voucher, with contents worth a combined total of £248.93. The calendar is priced at £65, saving shoppers just under £184.
Other luxury options
For those with a larger budget, the Fortnum's Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is priced at £275 and contains 25 doors with 24 full-sized items and one travel size worth a combined £1,225. It includes premium brands such as Ortigia, Wildsmith, Clive Christian, Delilah, Granado, Jean Charles Brosseau and Benamôr 1925.
The new Macmillan calendar has not yet received any reviews, according to the Mirror. However, last year's version drew comments from shoppers, with one saying: "The contents are well known brands and there is an excellent range with good sizes too. I bought three because of the great value and to support Macmillan." Another added: "A fabulous gift for my daughters. I bought them these last year and they loved them so much, they requested them again this year."
Some customers were less impressed, with one writing: "Wasn't that impressed for the price a lot of repeat brands." Shoppers may want to check the full list of contents for this year's calendar before purchasing.
