Asda Boys Summer Clothes Praised By Mum As Breath Of Fresh Air

A mother and online influencer has praised George at Asda for its boys' summer clothing range, describing it as a welcome change from the usual character-branded and garish designs. Megan Udrea, from Kent, who has 10,700 followers, shared a reel showcasing pastel-coloured T-shirts and sets with fun designs, saying the supermarket 'understood the assignment'.

In the video, Udrea said: 'Boy mum, so you're seeing what I'm seeing? It makes me want to burst out into song. Asda understood the assignment. They had so many fun T-shirt sets, just colourful and exactly what we wanted.' She added that the clothes wash well and are reasonably priced.

Items featured included the Stone Egg Hunter Kids Matching Back Print Sweatshirt, now reduced to £3, and the White Catch Of The Day Skater T-shirt, priced from £3.25. The post has garnered over 3,600 likes, with one follower commenting: 'This is amazing! My son doesn’t want PlayStation, Xbox, Minecraft and neither do I if I’m honest.' Another wrote: 'Oh my God, what a breath of fresh air! I need to go ASAP.'

Many parents have previously complained that boys' clothing ranges are dominated by TV and film characters, gaming themes, and bright colours, while girls' ranges offer more variety. Asda's latest collection appears to address this, offering stylish alternatives at affordable prices.
