With just one day left of Amazon Prime Day, shoppers can grab the carpet Kansas rug for £41.97. The rug is a number one bestseller for rugs and has over 3,700 reviews on Amazon.
Rustic and Hardwearing Design
Described as rustic, the rug is said to be hardwearing and perfect for busy areas in the home. It is easily wipeable for spills and messes and is even a good option for long-term outdoor use as it doesn't fade in the sun.
The rug is available in a wide range of colours, patterns and sizes. However, it is the 160cm x 230cm variant in colour nature 2 that is discounted for Amazon Prime Day.
Shopper Reviews
The full product description for the carpet Kansas reads: "The jute look gives the rug a natural and rustic aesthetic. Robust and hardwearing: The carpet is made of high-quality materials and can withstand heavy use."
One of many glowing reviews read: "I don't normally write reviews but I am absolutely delighted with this rug. It looks much more expensive than the price suggests and has really transformed our hallway. The colour is lovely and natural, and the woven texture gives it a warm, high-quality look."
"I used it with an anti-slip underlay - I haven't tried it without it so don't know if it would slip - but with the anti slip underlay it doesn't move at all, even in a busy hallway. It lies nice and flat and feels very well made. I've had several compliments already and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. If you're looking for a stylish jute-style rug that looks amazing without spending a fortune, I highly recommend this."
Alternatives and Other Reviews
Elsewhere, Dunelm offers the Glitz Border Velvet Rug in four sizes, ranging from 4 x 6 ft up to 9 x 12 ft. Usually priced between £79 and £329, shoppers can now pick one up between £63.20 and £263.20, but the sale is set to end on October 12.

Back to the carpet Kansas, one shopper said: "Although I've loved these rugs, this one is not quite what I was expecting. The quality and look is great and they do look like you would've paid more for them. They do come smaller than advertised but this one is 4cm smaller so I will probably send it back."
A five-star review said: "I absolutely love the quality. You can appreciate it even more when you see it up close. I'm still waiting for the creases to come out, but even so, I'm very happy with the purchase and I'll be buying another one for a different area."
Lastly, one shopper said: "This is a super rug for the money! Looking to buy more!!"
